To send e-mails from your e-shop it is necessary to set e-mail address of the sender to any address created under your hosting or whitelisted address.
E-mail sender setting is located on two places, in the Store Contacts and E-mail settings.
That may lead to misconfiguration in some cases. Therefore we have prepared simple guide to setting your e-mails.
- After login to the e-shop administration go to Store Contacts located in the menu Preferences.
In the section Shop there has to be an existing e-mail address. In the case you want to send e-mails from an address not located under your hosting, you can ask to add an exception. Simply contact our support at “helpdesk@active24.cz”.
- After entering sender address it is mandatory to enter parameters for sending as well.
- Ideally you can use smtp connection with authentication. To the SMTP user enter your e-mail address and as a smtp server use smtp.m1.websupport.sk with port 465 and SSL encryption.
In the bottom side of the page you can also see an option to send a test e-mail. Do not hesitate to use this feature to check the settings.
