Due to the ICANN rules, the registrar of generic domains (gTLDs – .com, .net, .info, etc..) requires authorization of the correctness of the holder’s contact details as of 1 January 2014. This authorization process only needs to be done when registering a foreign domain for the first time.
After registering and paying for the first generic domain, a message will be sent to your contact e-mail with a link to confirm the correctness of your data. You must confirm this information within 14 days of receiving the authorization email. If you register further domains using different contact details, you must repeat the confirmation after creating new registration details.
The email sent from info@active24.cz looks like this:
Hello,
You recently ordered a domain through Active 24, we are happy to inform you are now the legal owner of this domain. In order to use the domain you must verify your e-mail address*. Verify your e-mail by clicking the link below:

*This is a requirement set by ICANN (Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers). Visit our support page for more information on verifying e-mail addresses
In the email you need to click on the link “Verify my e-mail address”. You will then be redirected to a page with a form in which you must confirm your contact details after checking them. You can confirm your details by ticking the option “Yes, I want to authorize contact” and pressing the “Submit” button. The contact details are then confirmed and the registrar can register the domain.
