WebAdmin interface offers several advanced FTP options you can set to increase the safety or protection against attacks. It includes e.g. Geo and IP protection.
Geo protection
It allows you to login only from explicitly defined countries or more precisely defined IP addresses. By default you can login from countries of CZ, SK, HU, AT (this default settings is different for customer that were originally registered on active24.nl, .es, .cat or .co.uk sites).
Before traveling abroad we would recommend to check if your destination country is listed on the whitelist otherwise it will be impossible to login to you FTP. Whitelist can be edited from WebAdmin any time even from abroad.

1. Login to WebAdmin
2. Select your domain in the Services. Then select FTP accounts in the left menu.
3. Here you can see the state of GEO protection next to each FTP user. By hovering over it you can see currently listed countries
4. If you want to change the countries, select 3 dots and select Edit
5. GEO protection setting is located in the Advanced Settings
6. By selecting the field with countries you can add new country, by selecting the x next to a country you can block access
7. To confirm your settings select Save.
IP protection
After turning this feature on, every time you connect to FTP IP address from which the login attempt comes from will be checked. If the IP address will not be listed the login will be denied. Using this feature is advised if your want to limit access to the FTP to specific machine/machines with a static IP. System allows you to enter current IP address of your machine.

Allow FTP/SFTP login
Login to FTP can be completely forbidden for each account or you can allow only secured encrypted connection via SSH or only standard connection via FTP.
