Because the error messages are disabled the result for the website is only a white screen. The most common reasons for this are mostly:
- Wrong version of PHP and incompatibility of the website
- Problem with plugins or theme in the content management system
- Incorrectly uploaded file
If you search for your website and only a white screen will appear we recommend to check the following options:
error_log – file error_log is available in the FTP of your hosting in the ‘logs’ directory. Within the error_log you can look up the problem that causes the unavailability of the website.
php memory_limit – check in the WebAdmin if your php memory_limit is set to the maximum value
