Business Mail – phone email client settings (Exchange)

For your mailboxes in Business Mail service, you can share between devices your messages as well as calendar and contact list. For this setting in phone you need to use Exchange protocol.

Exchange is supported by most mobile clients, even Gmail app:

Automatic settings

If you have set our DNS record correctly, you don’t need fill in the settings manually – settings should be looked up automatically.

For correct setting, you simply need to have Quick DNS settings set for Websupport Mail. If it is not used yet, you can set it in your account in the DNS > Quick settings and select Set under the option Websupport Mail.

With that you can simply enter email and password to your mailbox and your mailbox will be added to your email mobile app.

Manual settings

If the automatic setting is not an option, you can set Exchange manually.

For manual setting you will need:

  • login username = name of your mailbox e.g. info@mydomain.eu
  • password to your mailbox
  • port 443
  • encryption – SSL or SSL/TLS (based on the option of your email app)
  • URL address in a form: mailXX.mX.websupport.cz e.g. mail44.m1.websupport.cz

URL for Exchange connection can be found in the Webmail un the url line.

And it is done! You have successfully connected your mailbox with your mobile app.
