Guide for beginners
This article is about an outdated service that no longer supports some new security features (TLS 1.2 and newer). It may happen that your email will not work in Outlook once it is set up. In this case, we would recommend upgrading to newer versions of Outlook (version 2013 and newer)
Setup via IMAP
1. In the section File select Add account
2. In the dialog window select Manually configure server settings
3. Enter your name and e-mail address
4. In the drop-down menu select account type IMAP.
5. Enter the server addresses for outgoing and incoming mails. You can use imap.websupport.cz. for incoming. You can use pop3 connection with pop3.websupport.cz. Also use smtp.websupport.cz for outgoing.
Warning! Addresses imap.websupport.cz and smtp.websupport.cz use only encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)
6. Enter your login details: e-mail address and password
7. Select More settings and on the Outgoing server tab select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Confirm by OK.
8. Select Next and after the testing close the information window.
9. Select Finish to exit the setup.
